Fox Umbrellas: Thomas Fox founded Fox Umbrellas in 1868, under the reign of Queen Victoria and they introduced the first nylon-covered umbrella in 1947. Today, the process of making Fox Umbrellas has changed very little and the company still continues to produce all umbrellas by hand.
